"The Windows 10 update cliff is coming in October 2025. We've explained why that's a big deal, and we have a comprehensive guide to updating to Windows 11 (recently updated to account for changes in Windows 11 24H2) so you can keep getting security updates, whether you're on an officially supported PC or not.
But this is more than just a theoretical exercise; I've been using Windows 11 on some kind of "unsupported" system practically since it launched to stay abreast of what the experience is actually like and to keep tabs on whether Microsoft would make good on its threats to pull support from these systems at any time.
Now that we're three years in, and since I've been using Windows 11 24H2 on a 2012-era desktop and laptop as my primary work machines on and off for a few months now, I can paint a pretty complete picture of what Windows 11 is like on these PCs. As the Windows 10 update cliff approaches, it's worth asking: Is running "unsupported" Windows 11 a good way to keep an older but still functional machine running, especially for non-technical users?"
Internal documents show that the social network gave Microsoft, Amazon, Spotify and others far greater access to people’s data than it has disclosed.
Microsoft started the war against Linux at least as far back as 1996. It has been going on for 15 years or more:

Microsoft doesn't even deny any of the tactics below. In fact, they have defended these activities in court hearings and commission hearings as "typical of the PC industry", because they control the PC industry.
Access all your contact information (GAL) from your Exchange server.
Want to lookup your colleague’s information in Exchange but find your Android phone lacking?
Unfortunately the Global Address List (GAL) lookup currently available in Android is limited in functionality. It only looks up email addresses and does not return anything more. This could be frustrating when you are trying to use your phone to look up your colleague’s phone number or office location.
This application looks up the GAL contact database, and returns ALL data corresponding to the contact that is available on the server. It also allows you to save the contact information retrieved to your phone for easy access.
This app supports GAL lookups on

- Exchange 2007
- Exchange 2010

Here is a copy of the License agreement that I received after I registered to MSDNAA ELMS. I got the keys for so called famous M$ products. Lets have a review of it shall we?
The Peruvian government and Microsoft signed an agreement to use Windows XP and Office, as well as other educational resources in the laptops as part of an OLPC pilot program, minister of education José Chang announced last week (18 September).
The move makes Peru the first country worldwide to test the change in the operating system of the OLPC devices.
Chang justified the change from Linux to Windows by saying public school students in Peru "need to use the most modern tools with the most global use".
